I travelled from Perth to Meekatharra on the first day and photographed some amazing survivors of the stolen generation within the aboriginal community. The aim of the trip was to explore & project some historical photos from 1920-50 that a friends Grandfather took living on the mission at Mt Margaret. The missionary photographer was Rod Shenck.  #stolenprojections   #stolengeneration #westernaustralia #meekatharra

Rex experienced being stolen when he was 10. At 17 he managed to escape and get work at a station where owner helped him stay out of sight when officials came by.

1923 Mt Margaret. "They lived by their wits to outwit the police pickups of children being sent to Moore River Govt. settlement" says the note on the photograph.    The mission at Mt Margaret was cut off from Govt. assistance as they were helping the aboriginal community in a more humane manner and managed to stop the police stealing the children. Still a very protective tight knit community as you might have noticed on the news the last few days    ‪#‎ stolenprojection‬    projected onto an old tank stand in Mt Margaret last night    ‪#‎ stolengeneration‬       ‪#‎ WesternAustralia‬

French Kissing in the AUS

These 3 were amazing to photograph. All the way from Quebec Montreal, Canada. The stormy conditions added to the photos in such a way that it was really fun and fresh! Little Raf was awesome. Thanks for choosing us to capture a little snapshot of your time in #Australia #Familyportraitsperth #familyportraits

Mel & Rom

Mel, Ramon & Herman the Boston Terrier

The pre-wedding shoot was great.  Herman wasn't invited so he gate crashed.  Mel & Ramon had fun in Fremantle during the photography session exploring the surrounds of the amazing town and having a few smooches along the way. They tied the knot at Kidogo Art House in Bathers Beach in Fremantle. Herman wasn't invited. It was a really fun arvo with trams, beer, beach, beer, speeches, beer, cake, beer and the best Moroccan food I've ever had.

Congrats to you both and give Herman a scratch for me.
